"Could, Should, or Would" 

Psalm 107:31 "Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for his goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!"

I just don't think we are thankful enough. I know I am not. We should be more thankful. But not out of obligation to be so, but out of sincere gratitude. We could certainly consider the Lord more often and then we would more likely be more grateful as we should. You see could and should are not the problem, would is. Could is a matter of ability. Should is a matter of responsibility, but would is a matter of choice or our will. We could and should be more grateful, but will we? Good question. Lord, thank you for your goodness and for all the wonderful works you have shown to your children.
