"Who Do You Serve?"
Matthew6:24 "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other."
One evening a wise old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside all people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all. One is evil, it is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, lies, pride, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, superiority, and ego.
The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a moment and then asked his grandfather which one wins? The wise old Cherokee grandfather simply replied, "The one you feed."
Food for thought.
In Him,
Pastor Fred
