“Relief”

Psalm 4:1 "Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress, be merciful to me and hear my prayer."

My notes on this passage went as follows....

Note how David praises God when he petitions Him (Praise the Lord).

Note how David surrenders his need for relief to God (Let go and let God).

Note how David owns responsibility for his own distress (No blame letting).

Note how David asks for mercy (Always remember, mercy is not getting what you deserve).

Note how David humbly and respectfully desires most just to be heard (God hears us best when we listen).

The relief of knowing that His Word is so revealing is very relieving.

I pray you too, find relief in Him.
