"Why??!!"
 
Proverbs 22:20 "There is no wisdom and no understanding and no counsel against the LORD."

Psalm 43:5 "Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God..."

Pretty simple answer. The Bible has lots of questions in it, considering the fact that it contains all the answers too. David, the psalmist has tons of questions. He has questions about God, questions about why people do what they do and questions about himself. Just like us. We have a gazillion questions. Many of our questions come from doubt, some come from not understanding, and honestly, some come from just trying to impress or buy time until we can think of something brilliant to say.

How cool is it that God encourages us to ask, seek, knock and be honest about our concerns and fears. I love simple answers. David asks himself a question here, he basically is wondering why he feels so depressed and why is he not at peace. His answer to his own question is to "Hope in God". So simple. It is the very answer that gives me peace and encourages me most often. I hope in God, so all my questions can be set aside, or given to Him. Talk to yourself, listen, answer and hope in God. Works for David, works for me, and it can work for you. He is the answer to all our questions about everything. Ask what you may, but listen and take to heart the simple answers. Hoping in God.
